Are you being molded by the master?

God had a plan for every person since the beginning of time, which involves shaping them with His hand. According to this plan, God is the potter and we are the clay. We are all lumps of human clay, waiting for a touch from the Master Potter, who is God.

When a potter sits at the wheel, they already have a clear idea of the shape they want their clay to take. Similarly, God wants us, the clay, to become more like his Son Jesus.

Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Ephesians 1:4 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

In order to be used by Him, it’s imperative that we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and purify our hearts. Let’s not give in to temptation and instead, strive to live a life that is pleasing to Him.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.

Each one of us has a unique purpose that God has designed for us. His divine plan shapes us into the person we are meant to be, with the aim of doing His work for the kingdom.

Romans 14:7 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

“Our bodies are no longer ours to claim, as we have been purchased by God. By surrendering ourselves to His will, we are granted eternal life and infinite blessings. Let us embrace His grace and relinquish our earthly desires, for they pale in comparison to the divine purpose that awaits us.”

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Hebrews 12:6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from sin.

2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.

“Your actions will determine whether you’ll be known as a vessel of honor or dishonor. Which path will you choose?”
