Doomsday Glacier is a glacier or Thwaites, which is a name given to a glacier that is one of the largest glaciers on the planet, about 74,000 square miles.
The glacier is so remote that less than 50 humans have ever seen it.
The problem with this glacier’s size of Florida is that it is slowly sliding, and it collapses when pushed too far. With its loss, that will destabilize the rest of the West Antarctic ice, and they will go too.
The water would rise 10 to 13 feet within hours, which would be a disaster to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, California; Galveston, Texas; Norfolk, Virginia; New York, etc.
Around the world, it would be a disaster for large parts of Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Lagos, and London to be submerged.
And when the water comes in, it doesn’t go away in a few hours; It stays. At least half the world’s population lives within 50 miles of coastline.
There were a few articles about this in 2017, but just a few days ago, they discovered another problem: they discovered warm ocean water underneath the doomsday glacier, which means the glacier is melting faster than experts previously believed.
How soon? They don’t know, and we will be the last to know. I know as well as anyone else that the public is the last to know of any disasters coming their way.
If they are spending millions of dollars to observe this, and when they say it is awful, it’s closer than they tell the public. One glaciologist said we have already blown the fuse.
The doomsday glacier is just another sign that the planet we all live on is in trouble and will not sustain life much longer, and Jesus is soon to return.
This is a great time to make sure you are right with God. Many churchgoers worldwide need to change their hearts and minds and self-examine by examining their walk with the Lord compared to what the scriptures teach that is required to be a Christian.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
It’s a great time for sinners to repent of their sins, accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and follow Jesus by studying the Bible, taking the truth in the Bible, and transforming their minds.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Church people need to wake up, study their Bibles, and work out their salvation with fear and trembling.
Going to church once a week for an hour and never reading their Bible will not get it in this evil world.
In the book of James, it says it plainly. You have to be a doer of the word, not just a hearer, and if you don’t read and study the word, you’re just deceiving yourself. For many, it would be hard to be a doer of the word when many don’t know what it teaches to do.
James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
