China is disrupting communication between its military and America’s military. China turning America’s communications “on and off like a light switch”

The communist nation’s military is intentionally disrupting its own lines with America and has expressed concern that the intentional lack of clear, consistent communication lines at the executive level between the two countries could lead to an international incident in the event of a misunderstanding, said Assistance Secretary of Defense for the Indo-Pacific Security Affairs.
America is hunting for malicious computer code it believes China has hidden deep inside the networks controlling power grids, communications systems, and water supplies that feed military bases in the United States and around the world, according to American military, intelligence, and national security officials.
The malware has raised fears that Chinese hackers, probably working for the People’s Liberation Army, have inserted code designed to disrupt U.S. military operations in the event of a conflict, including if Beijing moves against Taiwan in coming years.
China’s continued harassment of Taiwan, such as trespassing into the island’s waters and airspace, could potentially ignite a hot conflict if China’s tactical transgressions accidentally go too far.
“It’s dangerous, and China has got to knock it off. The question for China is: Do we have to wait to have such a dangerous crisis before they realize the benefits of that kind of engagement?” Assistance Secretary of Defense for the Indo-Pacific Security Affairs asked. He added, “Our hope is not.”
American intelligence officials believe the malware could give China the power to disrupt or slow American deployments or resupply operations, including during a Chinese move against Taiwan.
North Korea unveiled a new tactical nuclear attack submarine, state-run media reported Friday, a development leader Kim Jong Un called a “top priority” in countering the naval strength of the United States and its allies.
Over the past year, North Korea has moved to boost its navy with new nuclear weapons, including underwater drone warships.
The Korean People’s Army Naval Force has about 470 surface vessels, including guided missile ships, torpedo boats, small patrol vessels, and fire support boats.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un plans to travel to Russia this month to meet President Vladimir Putin and discuss supplying Moscow with weapons for the war in Ukraine.
At a time when the United States has expressed concern about growing military ties between the two countries, the news of Kim’s planned visit came after Russia said it was discussing holding joint military exercises with North Korea.
