The Model of the Apostle Paul

God’s Warrior! I want to start by saying the words in the Bible are God-breathed. The people who wrote it was used by God to write his words.

I have heard people talking bad about Paul on many other forums on the Internet. There is a movement on the internet that calls themselves the Hebrew movement that claims that Paul’s teachings are not true. Since Paul’s teachings speak against their teaching, it’s a way to believe false teaching and say Paul’s teachings are false.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

When you speak evil of Paul, you’re speaking evil of the Holy word. And when you speak evil of the word, your speaking evil of God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Paul, was a man of God, full of the Holy Ghost.

Paul was born Saul, was of the Benjamite lineage and Hebrew ancestry with parents that were Pharisees. Saul was zealous in his beliefs, and this zeal made Saul a religious extremism.

He was present for the stoning and death of Stephen. He went after the church, entering house after house, putting them in prison.

Then Saul met Jesus Christ on the road from Jerusalem to Damascus. The light of the Lord blinded him. By prayer, Saul received the Holy Spirit, regained his sight and was baptized and became Paul.

The Apostle Paul spent his life proclaiming the risen Christ Jesus throughout Rome. Through his writings his love for Jesus was evident. He said he was the least of the Apostles for the damage he done to the church.

He said he was of poor speech, but knew the knowledge of the truth. He said he served the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to him.

He went on to write 13 letters=books of the Bible.

Philippians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Paul was imprisoned AD 61 and wrote Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians. Then set free in A D 64 when he wrote 1 Timothy and Titus. He was again imprisoned in AD 66 where he wrote his last letter 2 Timothy.

Not long after he was taken to the execution block and beheaded.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God’s Warrior!
