Wildfires Have Erupted Across the World

End time Bible Ezekial 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Yakutsk in Russian Siberia is the world’s coldest city but today it’s in haze as the nearby wildfires go through the forest that has been parched by weeks of heatwaves. The fires are so big, and the winds are strong, smoke is traveling as far away as Alaska.

In Oregon the wildfires have grown so large it’s sending dense smoke some 3,000 miles across to New York. These wildfires are also going on in British Columbia in Canada.

The smoke in the republic of Yakutia in Siberia was so thick that the reconnaissance plane could not fly the plane in such poor visibility. “The fire season is getting longer, the fires are getting larger, they’re burning more intensely than ever before,” said Thomas Smith, an assistant professor in Environmental Geography at the London School of Economics.

The wildfires in Yakutia have consumed more than 6.5 million acres since the beginning of the year which is the size of 5 million football fields. In Oregon, eight fires have burned nearly 475,000 acres.

The Canadian province of British Columbia declared an emergency due to wildfires which nearly 300 active wildfires have been reported in the province.

Such wildfire conditions are becoming more extreme and increasingly reflect rising global temperatures trend driven by rising atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases.

The fires result in the release of even more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, and some of the smoke can eventually deposit soot on distant snow and ice, speeding up the melting that already is occurring in response to global warming.

As the planet continues to warm, wildfires will become a growing problem one that sends smoke across international borders and increases greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere.
