Churches that are Lukewarm at the End of the World

Many who attend church are there to do their weekly service to God but have never changed and become Christians.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The people in the building are the Church, not the building.

Progressive Churches reinterpret the Bible because they teach that times change, and so does the teaching of the Bible; this way, they can accept LGBTQ and every other evil movement of the modern world.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

The Hebrew movement: teaches that only the Old Testament is only the Word of God which is false.

2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

They teach that the Gospel is only for Jesus’s time and Paul’s writing is completely false, which is most of the New Testament. They have the Spirit of Antichrist.

They teach you must keep the law which is 613 commandments which is false.

Galatians 3:24  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Galatians 6:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Galatians 6:26  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 6:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

The modern-day church services are mostly held once a week, in the morning, with one or two services for an hour or two. Many have a traditional service that is closer to the old-time services and a contemporary service that has worldly music.

Contemporary is used to describe the music included in the service, which is not of God and is just loud, annoying, and worldly.

PowerPoint presentations and videos instead of Bible reading and talks rather than sermons.

Some have gone as far as lights,  fog, and the big stage.

Some have services with the idea of doing your own thing, avoiding anything done in “traditional worship,” including hymns and prayers.

If a church has to bow down to worldly ways to fill seats, then they are progressive and false.

Many churches have no revivals, and if there is a revival, it’s once or twice a year.

Coffee and donuts in some churches, video games for children, etc. This is why churches are empty or closed.

The congregation is voting on all these worldly ideas. Many churches are filled with sinners and hypocrites who do not know Jesus but serve themselves.

The failure in churches starts in the pulpit.

Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served themselves more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Whatever happened to the churches of yesterday?

The churches of yesterday were held on Sunday morning as well as Sunday night. Most held Church at least two more times a week, not including days for Bible study and other activities. Service would last 3 to 4 hours and sometimes longer.

They sang songs about God and to God instead of singing to the congregation and entertaining them.

They preached on sin and the lake of fire, and in most churches those two words are not spoken because they might offend someone.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Revelations 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

After, they would pray on their knees or at their seats for hours.

Psalms 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Holiness and spreading the Gospel was a topic that was taught.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

People went to Church to uplift their brothers and sisters and worship Jesus.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Almost everyone carried their Bible to Church, and you could tell it was being studied for all the wear and tear on it and all the notes and scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Today most don’t have a Bible, or most don’t bring it when they come to church.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdomteaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Conversations were about the Bible, not gossip or a score on a certain sports game.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Seats were full, and in some, only standing room. The revival was held many times throughout the year, and everyone was taught to call their neighbors, family, and friends and invite them.

When a revival would be held, the members did much prayer on their knees for the lost, and many went out to invite people.

People in churches use to have such a pulling in their hearts for the lost. Christians used to go door to door and witness, and passing out tracts was done at shopping centers and store parking lots.

Most churches stay closed all week and open one day a week. The problem with churches is God is not there, but then why would he be.

2 Thessalonians say that the church must fall away from the truth before Jesus returns. And as we can see that has already happened. It also teaches that there will be false teachers in the pulpits.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

That is what the preachers in many churches and on TV are doing, taking the truth, twisting it, and speaking evil of it.

Revelation 3:16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Matthew 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Matthew 15:8 draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Jude 1:3 That ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
