The question is why is the goverments of the world so interested in astreoids this year?
Why has the world prepared for the apocalypse?

They will never let the public know when a astroid is headed for earth.
SpaceX fired a small NASA probe into space early Wednesday, setting up a head-on 15,000 mph impact in September 2022 to test the feasibility of nudging a threatening body off course long before it could crash into Earth.
The $330 million Double Asteroid Redirection Test, or DART, the first test flight “will be historic,” said Tom Statler, mission program scientist at NASA Headquarters. “For the first time, humanity will change the motion of a natural celestial body in space.
“But for DART, the mission was just beginning. It will take the spacecraft 10 months to reach its target, a 525-foot-wide asteroid known as Dimorphos that orbits a half-mile-wide parent body named Didymos.
But the double-asteroid system offers an attractive target to DART because the probe’s impact can be more easily measured from Earth by precisely timing how the moonlet’s orbital period around Didymos changes as a result of the collision.
Unlike Hollywood thrillers like “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact,” which imagined piloted flights carrying nuclear bombs to deflect or destroy an asteroid. DART’s goal is much simpler and much less destructive.
Astronomers believe there are roughly 25,000 near-Earth asteroids 500 feet or larger in size.
For perspective, the body that blasted out Meteor Crater in Arizona was about 150 feet wide while the meteor that broke up over Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2013, injured more than 1,600 people and caused an estimated $30 million in damage, measured just 60 feet across.
NASA just said they couldn’t stop an Asteroid from hitting earth.

Revelations chapter 8 through 9 many people believe is talking about two different asteroids hitting earth in the end times.
Notice it’s “1/3 of everything even the men” in chapter 9, I believe it’s one event that causes it to destroy 1/3.
