End time Bible! World crisis! Why should the world care? The Amazon rainforest is the lungs of the planet. The lungs produce 20% of our planet’s oxygen.
By burning trees, the rainforest loses its ability to store carbon and it also releases more carbon into the atmosphere.
Since the 1950s, the Amazon rainforest has lost more than 15 percent of its original forest cover, and up to 1/2 of the forest has been partially destroyed
The rainforest contains 20 percent of the world’s flowing fresh water. It contains a third of all known terrestrial plant, animal and insect and it affects rain patterns across the world.
It takes nature many many years to create the Amazon rainforest, but man can destroy it within decades. They call that Deforestation, which is man-made destruction.
Man is destroying the forest for greed. They do that by agriculture and cattle ranching, oil and gas production, mining and logging. There are around 400 billion trees across the Amazon, more than 86 billion tons of carbon stored in the forest, that’s a third worldwide.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
