Israel celebrates its 75th anniversary, an achievement that likely would not have happened without God.
David Ben-Gurion announced the State of Israel on May 14th, 1948, six surrounding Arab nations, Egyptian, Jordanian, Iraqi, Syrian, and Lebanese forces, invaded the newly established state and attacked the newborn country within hours.
Without God and the miracles he did, Israel would have never survived. The small military units were mainly patriotic people, some of them Holocaust survivors, who just came off the boat from Europe and put on uniforms, joined the battle, and defended Israel in 1948.
Israel can boast some remarkable successes in the economic, technological, scientific, and cultural spheres. As in its central aim of providing the scattered Jews with a haven, instilling in them a sense of nationhood, and forging a modern nation-state, Zionism has been a brilliant success.
Like most countries, after covid, massive street protests in Israel and both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leaders called for a pause on demonstrations out of respect for the day.
Tens of thousands of protesters flocked to Tel Aviv and cities across Israel to vent their opposition to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right government and its plan to overhaul the country’s judicial system.
Amid the clashes, Netanyahu urged unity in his address. “This year, more than ever, on the Memorial Day for the brave of our nation, we will remember that we are brothers: Jews, Druze, Muslims, Bedouin, Christians, and Circassians,” Netanyahu said at an official state ceremony, according to the Times of Israel. “Brothers in service, brothers in arms, brothers in blood.
”In a separate speech, he called on Israelis to “deepen our hold on our homeland.”

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Romans 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
