Christians killed daily in the world because of their faith

Persecuted Christians and others across the world, killings, abductions, forced marriages, arrests, and other acts of persecution.

According to the World Watch List 2024 by Open Doors, a Christian organization that supports persecuted Christians worldwide, more than 317 million Christians face high or extreme levels of persecution in the top 50 countries alone.

There is an enormous growth in religious persecution, be it the persecution of Christians, which is the largest minority group, as far as numbers, that faces severe persecution, or if it’s antisemitism.

There are diabolical governments, dictators, and extremists controlled by the devil to do his bidding. But not just Christians but also groups like Uyghurs, whom the Chinese rounded up and put in concentration camps.

Nations like Nigeria face persecution crises, with Christians being slaughtered by Muslim extremists at a rapid rate. Persecuted believers, wherever they may be, have the right to practice their faith, to worship Jesus, to read their Bible in peace and civilly, within whatever country they’re in.

The church needs to wake up on this subject and know that we are called to pray for, care for, and support people who are persecuted for the name of Jesus, imprisoned for the name of Jesus, abducted for the name of Jesus, Christians need to stand up for this freedom.

The top 10 countries where Christians currently face the most persecution are North Korea ranked (No. 1), Somalia (No. 2), Libya (No. 3), Eritrea (No. 4), Yemen (No. 5), Nigeria (No. 6), Pakistan (No. 7), Sudan (No. 8), Iran (No. 9), and Afghanistan (No. 10).
