How does God see Sin?

WE ARE FREE FROM SIN, NOT FREE TO SIN.

(The Law given by God consists of 613 commandments.)

(Sin is breaking the law.)

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

By the law, we understand that by breaking any of the 613 commandments, we understand what sin is.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

(Everyone has sinned.)

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

(Jesus died for the sins of the world.)

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

(God loved the world and sent his Son to shed his blood for our sins.)

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

(So we are saved by grace. Grace is a gift from God that we don’t deserve.)

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved.

(By God’s grace, we understand that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and be godly in this world.)

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

(Some false teachers teach that we can sin because we are under grace, but the scriptures say God forbids it, which means God orders all saved by grace not to sin.)

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

(Grace is something that no one deserves. not a license to sin)

1 John 4:9  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

(The way not to sin is to walk after the spirit and not after the flesh.)

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Galatian 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

(If you do sin, then you have a go-between with God, who is Jesus.)

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

(The Bible teaches Christians that God forbids us to sin, so God doesn’t forbid us of something we can’t do.)

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

(If you commit sin, you are a servant of sin, not a servant of Jesus.)

Romans 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. If you do righteousness you are righteous.

(Unrighteousness is sin.)

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

(We were sinners before we were Christians, no longer sinners.)

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men,

1 Corinthians 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

(The Bible teaches Christians not to sin, but if you do sin, you have an advocate, which is a go-between with the Father, that is Jesus.)

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

(And everyone knows that has read the Bible that if you are a liar your Father is the devil.)

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

(And all liars will have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.)

Revelations 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.

(Grace is something that no one deserves; it’s not a license to sin, and we are free from sin, not free to sin.)
