What has gone wrong in America is people behind pulpits not standing for what’s right and speaking against sin.
I read an article by a Jewish leader who was trying to explain how religious freedom has gone wrong in America.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
The Bible says that Jews have been blinded to the truth. This is why Christians need to evaluate everything they read or hear by the Word.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

He disagreed with a woman-elected member of a School Board because she lodged a complaint that launched the investigation of a teacher who played a Disney film with a gay character for her class of fifth graders in Florida.
He disagreed with her because she stated God put her in that office which he believed was somehow making her a prophet.
He says that he believes God has a say in our personal lives but then goes on to say she was acting as a prophet, declaring with certainty God’s plan for her or anyone else.
Just because she lodged a complaint that launched the investigation of a teacher and believed she was put in office by God does not mean she was prophesying or making her a prophet.
I believe that was a lame evaluation of that woman. I believe his final poor argument was to silence the conservative view and to say the conservative view has shifted to a fight, not to secure their own free expression, but to secure the absences of those with whom they disagree.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
The conservative view is to stop indoctrinating young children with ideas that the Bible says are sinful. I believe he should read his Bible; In the Old and New Testaments, God calls that way of life a sin.
He should read the Florida law signed last year by Gov. Ron DeSantis. The law in Florida is legislation, signed last year by Gov. Ron DeSantis, banning certain instructions about sexual orientation and gender identity in the classroom. I believe this film would fall under this law.
The conservative woman had a right to lodge a complaint against the teacher, and doing so doesn’t make her a prophet but a concerned citizen about what is being taught to children in a Florida school.
It’s sad when any religious leader would oppose the person who was trying to protect children and try to make out that what she was doing was against religious freedom.

Indoctrinating children with sinful lifestyles has nothing to do with religious freedom but is just plain common decently.
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Luke 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
The problem with America is religious leaders who don’t speak against sin and other religious leaders who chastise those who do speak out.
