Bought with a Price

Every person born on this earth is guilty in the sight of God for breaking his Law.

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

God looked down upon humanity and loved us, and had mercy on us.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Christians, you are bought with a price, and that price was the blood of Jesus who died for your sins.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are no longer ours, but we are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Jesus died on the cross for us and shed his blood so we could have eternal life.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Serving Jesus is mandatory for all who Jesus has saved.

The church of today has created a false distinction between those who are ministers and those who are not.

The ministers are thought to be “called” to serve God, but the ones sitting in the seats of the Church are not called. They are just the congregation who volunteer some of their spare time.

There is no teaching in the Bible that some Christians are called to serve God, and others are not.

Every Christian is saved to serve. God hasn’t saved anyone so that they can sit around. Every person God saves is called to serve Jesus according to how God has gifted him.

1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

1 Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

The word minister in the Bible means a servant, a waiter, like someone who waits on tables. We are to serve God by serving each other and doing service to those in need.

Matthew 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

Matthew 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Matthew 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matthew 25:42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

Matthew 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you,  Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
