According to Environment America, bumblebee populations have declined by 90% in the past 20 years due to various factors, including the use of pesticides and urbanization.
Climate change is considered to be one of the major contributing factors behind the decline of bumblebees. This is a worrying trend as bumblebees play a crucial role in ecosystems.
They pollinate flowers and crops, and if their population continues to drop, it could negatively affect the production of fruits and vegetables from crops.
Bumblebees are small but crucial to nature’s balance. Their decline may be due to nest overheating, which is lethal when above 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) despite their thermoregulation capacity.
High temperatures are more harmful to most animals and plants than cool temperatures. When the weather is cool, organisms that cannot regulate their body temperatures, slow down.
However, when the temperature becomes too high, metabolic processes start to break down and eventually stop functioning altogether.
It is surprising that the effect of high nest temperatures has not been extensively studied. However, we can assume that nest temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) would be highly detrimental and may even cause death quickly.
Another threatened yet highly important species, honeybees, has been studied. High nest temperatures threaten queen bee health, indicating heat stress is a significant factor in the overall decline of bees.

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
