Though election day is behind us, politics will most likely continue to be in many Church people’s lives in place of the Bible.
Politics cannot bring salvation, determine morality, provide ultimate meaning, or secure our relationships.
Jesus brought salvation, dictated morality, provided meaning to anyone who accepted his way, and showed through love how to have a meaningful relationship.
The government “of the people, by the people, and for the people” is a great way to govern a country, but without the Bible’s teaching to the country’s citizens, that government will plunge until the “people no longer matter.”
Many Churches have become political instead of Biblical, no longer teaching the Biblical truth but has become political.
Jesus and his followers were never political but were teachers of truth. Too many people behind the pulpits and in the churches have a worldview that is not Biblical.

Being a conservative or a Republican does not make you a Christian. Jesus said he was the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus’s way, Jesus’s truth, Jesus’s life. To know that way, truth, and life, you must study the Bible and become born again by that truth.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 2:1 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
We must renew our minds.
