Nasa reveals it “secretly” prepared for catastrophic asteroid smashing into Earth scenario.
The US space agency on Thursday March 11, 2022 said that it designed a simulation to assess the impact of an asteroid smashing into Earth.
The simulated exercise spanned over the course of two days and wanted to gauge the United States’ ability to respond effectively to an asteroid threat, according to the report.
It also heavily focused on whether federal and state governments’ could coordinate efficiently across federal, state, and local government levels.
An asteroid over 450 feet in diameter would release an amount of energy at least a thousand times greater than that released by the first atomic bomb.
If it impacted Earth. Something even larger over 975 feet wide like the asteroid Apophis could destroy an entire continent.
It is for this reason that scientists worldwide have worked to study the many asteroids in space and catalog them, calculating their trajectories and anticipating any possible impact events.
Over 1,113,000 asteroids are known to exist in the solar system, according to NASA, but those are just the ones definitively identified, with experts always finding more.
In September 2021, an asteroid passed by the Earth at an extremely close distance. However, scientists never saw it coming in fact, they only saw it after it had already flown by.
The reason for this is that, unlike other asteroids that approach Earth as they head towards the Sun, these came from the direction of the Sun.
The glare from the light of the Sun makes spotting these asteroids difficult.
So most likely an asteroid that no one sees will hit the earth.
Even if they knew one was coming they probably would never tell the public because of the panic.
Many believe in the Book of Revelations chapter 8 it tells of an asteroids hitting the earth.
Revelations 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Revelations 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Most likely the same event since it’s 1/3 of land, water, and people, and 1/3 of the sun, moon, stars, night, and day.
