Faith

You must believe-have faith in God to be saved. You can’t even please God without faith.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Not a mountain in your life, Jesus was referring to a real mountain. People who dilute that down to a mountain in your life, are people who have little or no faith. It’s not we would need to move a mountain, but Jesus was teaching them that nothing was impossible with God.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Our words are very important and the Bible tells how important our words are. And I’m not talking about the people on T.V. that teach word of faith who fleece the flock.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

To be a Christian you must  base your beliefs on the Bible.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Everything you see was created by words, which was spoken by God.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

If you lack faith or have little faith, then study the word for it is alive that God-breathed.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Hebrew 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Faith is believing in the invisible, instead of the visible.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight:

Your belief=faith about God must be based on scripture, not on any man.

1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

To rightly divided scriptures in the Bible, you must study the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
