The Biden regime is buying up $290 million in anti-radiation drugs for use in “nuclear emergencies” amid escalating tensions with Russia and heightened threats of a nuclear war.
President Joe Biden said Thursday that the risk of nuclear “Armageddon” is the highest it has been for 60 years after Russian President Vladimir Putin renewed his threats.
“I don’t think there’s any such thing as the ability to easily use a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon,” Biden said.
Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said last month that the consequences “would be catastrophic if Russia went down the dark road of nuclear weapons use.”

Putin himself is rumored to be in a secret bunker this week, preparing to make “key decisions about launching a tactical nuclear strike” from a secret bunker.
The Kremlin leader has reportedly warned his closest family, including gymnast partner Alina Kabaeva of the possibility of rapid evacuation to the mysterious location.
The exact whereabouts of Putin’s bunker are unclear, but it’s said to be a “long way” from Moscow.
The detonation of even just a small fraction of the world’s nuclear weapons would spark massive firestorms that would rapidly inject sun-blocking soot into the atmosphere, touching off a sudden cooling of the climate, the researchers theorized.
Tens of millions of immediate fatalities in the war zone would be followed by hundreds of millions of starvation deaths around the globe.
In the event of a larger war between the U.S. and Russia, which together are believed to hold more than 90% of the world’s nuclear stockpile, an estimated 5 billion out of 6.7 billion people worldwide would die, according to research.
But any of the nine nuclear-armed nations, which also include China, North Korea, France, Israel, and the United Kingdom, have enough firepower at their fingertips to cause immense worldwide suffering and death, with soot rising into the sky and touching off a domino effect of catastrophic cooling and famine, the study suggests.
For a nuclear emergency, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is purchasing a supply of the drug Nplate from Amgen USA Inc; Nplate is approved to treat blood cell injuries that accompany acute radiation syndrome in adult and pediatric patients (ARS).
ARS, also known as radiation sickness, occurs when a person’s entire body is exposed to a high dose of penetrating radiation, reaching internal organs in a matter of seconds.
Symptoms of ARS injuries include impaired blood clotting due to low platelet counts, which can lead to uncontrolled and life-threatening bleeding. To reduce radiation-induced bleeding, Nplate stimulates the body’s production of platelets.
The drug can be used to treat adults and children. While Russia has stated statement warning the US they will use nuclear weapons to defend their territory and are “not bluffing.”
The US has been shipping billions in high-tech weaponry to Ukraine to attack Russian forces and strike inside Russia.
USAID said the United States had delivered $9.89 billion in aid to Ukraine since February.
A spending bill signed by President Biden last week promises another $12.3 billion in Ukraine-related aid directed both at military and public services needs. Power said Washington plans to release the first $4.5 billion of that funding in the coming weeks.
A train and freight convoy allegedly belonging to the 12th Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense responsible for the country’s nuclear munitions and transport thereof was recorded heading through Russia toward the front lines of the war in Ukraine.
Biden said in February, after the war broke out, that Americans should not be worried about nuclear war, then spent the next eight months antagonizing Russia (and China) with endless provocations to make nuclear war more likely than ever.
