Midnight on the Clock symbolizes the end of the world.
With North Korea building new missiles and Iran enriching uranium centrifuges and the information warfare and disruptive technologies of the modern world and global warming, a decade that was warmest in recorded history, the clock was set forward to 100 seconds to midnight.
The Clock, which warns humanity of approaching disasters from nuclear weapons, rising geopolitical tensions, as well as changes to the environment with midnight being the end of the world symbolically.
Its the first time the hands on the Doomsday clock has been within the two-minute mark. Each year, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists consults with a board of sponsors that include 13 Nobel Laureates-a person who is honored with an award for outstanding creative or intellectual achievement, to analyze a range of threats to determine whether the Doomsday Clock’s hands should be adjusted.
The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists were founded in 1945, and the group has maintained the Doomsday Clock since 1947.
I agree that time is running out for humanity on this planet, that humans have almost destroyed. Christians understand Jesus will return before man destroys the earth.
Revelations 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
The Doomsday part of the clock is only for those who know not Jesus. For the Christian, it’s a wonderful time, for we will be caught up to Jesus in the clouds and will be with the Lord forever.
It’s sad that so many people in this world are not taking all the signs seriously that the world is coming to an end and repenting. Noah saw this as well in his time when people just kept going on with their life and avoiding the inevitable-certain to happen; unavoidable.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

There is no way I could cover all the disasters around the world showing that the end is near. .
I agree with the Doomsday clock that the time should be set up because of the end of the world is near and the return of Jesus Christ. But then I don’t need a symbolic clock to tell me that the end is near since I have the Bible and the signs of the end in it.
