America’s Faith Leaders Point to Next Jesus People Movement

Christians make up less than half of the U.S. population. Young people want to understand that Christianity is true, they also need to understand that it is good faith.

“That it matters in the world, that it can be for better friendships, better community engagement, serving the poor, generosity, lives of impact, community transformation,” explained the president of the Barna group.

He went on to say, “Young people don’t want to hear sermons, they want to be able to be taught to learn how to believe and why Jesus’ life, death, Resurrection matters in the world today, in their lives, that Jesus is speaking in a real and personal way, and we have to help young people learn to listen to that voice of God in their lives and respond to it well.”

Third, they write down the names of people who don’t know Jesus and pray for them.

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.
