Jesus is the only way to the true God. All other ways are a lie and not to the real God.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Many people who attend church live their way or the world’s way, but not Jesus’ way. Many people who attend church say they are saved, but their ways prove different. Jesus said that his way was the only way to God.
It takes more than attending church or saying I believe in Jesus to be a Christian. Some people who attend Church only act like Christians while they are there. As soon as they leave, they are back to being themselves, caught up in the world’s affairs.
A Christian is to be crucified with Jesus and die to themselves and the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
If you love the world or the things in it, as many who go to church, then the love of the Father is not in you.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world if any man the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
We are not to be similar to those of the world but be transformed into Christians with a renewed mind.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

A Christians’ affection is to be on things of God, not on things of the earth.
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
The Bible teaches that if you’re a friend of the world, you are not of God. It says you are an enemy of God and guilty of adultery. You are married unto Christ, have left your partner, and are committing adultery with the world.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jesus said to die daily to your flesh and follow him.
Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
The only way you will ever die out to your flesh and live for Christ is to have a renewed mind. The only way to renew your mind is to be born again by the Word of God and grow thereby.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.
And when we are born again by the Word of God, then we can deny ungodliness and lust and live in this world.
Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
Jesus taught that many would say we prophesied in your name, cast out devils in your name, and did many wonderful works in your name, and he will say unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work sin.
So don’t be like many on the internet who try to work out everyone else’s salvation, but work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Galatians 2:21 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
