Does God Always Answer our Prayers?

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 John 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

God does not hear a sinner’s prayer unless it is to repent from their sins. So if you are sinning, God does not hear your prayers.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Hebrew 13:5 By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

But he only answers our prayers if the prayer is according to his will.

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

So God is not going to answer a prayer to fulfill the lust of the flesh.

For God to answer a prayer, you must be born again by the word.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

To have the word abiding in you, so your prayers are answered, you must be born again by the word of God and grow by studying the word.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Then you must believe he will answer what you are praying for.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Hebrew 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith is believing you receive it before you have it.

Hebrew 11:6 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrew 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hebrew 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

To sum it all up:

God does not hear your prayers if you are a sinner.

The prayer must be his will, not from your lust.

You must be a worshipper of God and be doing his will.

You must be born again by the word of God and have his word abiding in you by studying the word of God.

You must believe you’re going to receive it from God, which is faith.

Faith is believing you receive it before you have it.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Psalms 95:1 O come let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Psalms 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with singing.

Psalms 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
