There is no such thing as a progressive Christian. On different websites and in some so-called churches, you have progressive teachers, preachers, authors of progressive books, and progressive online courses that are teaching progressive courses about being LGTBQ or having children that are LGTBQ.
If any website, church, teacher, preacher, book, or course speaks of progressive ways, avoid them.
Just because someone says they are Christian doesn’t make them a Christian. Anyone that claims Christianity must go by the Bible, or they are a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

These type twist scriptures or use scriptures that benefit their lies. It doesn’t matter what you believe if it doesn’t align with the truth you’re believing in fables. People who try to sell you this idea of progressive are themselves being lied to by the devil.
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1 Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
I believe that any site that promotes progressive ways is not of God. And you should avoid it.
God is truth, so figure out if these people are of God by lying.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The Bible warns of false teachers in the last days who are instruments of the devil who come as sheep, but inside, they are wolves.
Matthew 7:14 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
False teachers twist the truth and speak evil of it.
1 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Liberal or progressive is open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values. Those traditional values in the Bible are the truths in the Bible.
You could be a liberal non-christian, and you would be seen as one that opposes the conservatives. But you oppose God when you claim to be a Christian liberal-progressive or a progressive-liberal church.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
Many in the church world call themselves progressive, which teaches a false doctrine that the teaching of the Bible changes with the times. This is a lie from the devil.

To say that God keeps up with the world as it changes is just an excuse to be of the world and be evil.
These wolves are in darkness and love the world instead of God and the truth of the Holy Word.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:15 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
It is called false doctrine or heresy when you change and twist the word of God to go along with liberal-progressive ways that the world has excepted.
False doctrine is any idea that adds to, takes away from, contradicts, or nullifies the doctrine in God’s Word. The Bible calls it Heresy.
Galatians 1:7 – Which is not another, but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
These liberals or progressives have entered into churches and into high places in the church to persuade others of the devil’s ways since the true churches and Christians stand against their evil ways.
I’m sure they don’t even believe in God since to believe in God, you must believe his Holy word.
The progressive churches are worldly and interested in liberal, worldly ideas while they preach those ideas flavored with scriptures to make their ideas sound religious.
And the type that goes to these spiritually dead liberal churches wants to call themselves Christian but does not want to repent and follow the truth of the word.
You could not study the Bible with a repetitive heart and believe the evil ways of progressive teaching.
The Bible teaches that many will want their ears tickled in the last days instead of being told the truth.

God does not change, and his truth in the Bible is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The world has changed, society has become evil, and many churches have become lukewarm or have completely fallen away from the truth.
The pulpits are full of people with no backbone when preaching the truth of the word.
2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first.
Timothy chapter 3 talks about people in churches because worldly people don’t have a form of Godliness.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Many have entered into the congregation of churches and into the pulpit of churches that are ungodly and full of lust that resists the truth and has become reprobates.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into wantonness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
2 Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
Psalms 119:89 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.
The word of God does not change with the world.
