A God-given gift that is Eternal Life

The Bible refers to eternal life as a gift of God available only through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eternal life doesn’t only refer to the length of time one lives, but it’s also about the quality of life one lives. As believers, we experience happiness, satisfaction, freedom, confidence, comfort, and humility that radiate from the center of the gospel.

This experience is what I mean by the quality of life. The duration of life that we experience is colored by the quality of life that we have as Christians. We believe that this quality of life is real and last forever.

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died for our sins, granting eternal life.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
