Are you Being Taught the Fullness of Life Before Death or Life After Death?

The Bible and early Christianity hold the resurrection and afterlife as fundamental beliefs. The promise of everlasting life beyond the physical realm provides hope and comfort for believers.

In today’s world, the church has shifted its focus towards achieving a fulfilling life rather than solely preparing for the afterlife. Emphasizing the importance of living life to the fullest, the modern church encourages individuals to make the most of their time on earth.

As Christians, we focus on life after death, although we still have the blessings of Abraham in this life.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

“When a person dies, their entire being disappears from this world. Their thoughts and existence will no longer have a physical presence among us. This serves as a reminder that we should not only live for the present but also strive to attain eternal life.”

Psalms 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Many churches open only for a few hours each week, and some offer coffee, cappuccino, and donuts to attendees who sit in comfortable chairs and are entertained.

People are learning to live fulfilling lives through self-help teachings from the pulpit instead of teaching from the Bible. Prosperity preachers are instructing followers on how to receive blessings from God while they give offerings.

They teach us how to enjoy the world without separating ourselves from it.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2 Corinthians 6:15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

False teachers on TV and behind pulpits are encouraging a love of the world for the enjoyment of life.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Many individuals in religious communities struggle to understand the meaning of the word “not.” This word indicates that a certain action is forbidden by God and must not be carried out.

True righteousness comes from following the teachings of the Bible, not false teachers. Many who follow such teachers are self-righteous instead of Christ-righteous.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Proverbs 4:18  But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Proverbs 4:19  The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Proverbs 4:20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Proverbs 4:21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

Proverbs 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Don’t be an enemy of the cross.

Philippians 3:18  For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Philippians 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

Philippians 3:20  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Matthew 5:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 5:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 5:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 5:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 5:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matthew 5:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them

Matthew 5:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 5:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work sin.
