Wearing a Face Mask COVID-19

End time Bible! Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword comes and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

Face masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Because it’s possible to have coronavirus without showing symptoms, it is best to wear a face-covering even if you think you are healthy.

A mask helps contain small droplets that come out of your mouth and or nose when you talk, sneeze or cough.

If you have COVID-19 and are not showing symptoms, a face mask reduces your chance of spreading the infection to others. If you are healthy, a mask may protect you from larger droplets from people around you.

People with risk factors for severe consequences of COVID-19: This would include people over age 65 and those living with heart disease, diabetes, obesity, chronic lung disease, immunity problems, or cancer.

Cloth masks made at home are made of materials commonly used include anti-microbial linens and jersey. While studies suggest that homemade masks are not as effective as surgical masks or N95 masks, they might have some benefits from large droplets and protect others.

Surgical masks, commonly worn by healthcare workers, are intended to block bacterial germs transmitted through secretions, sprays, splashes, and large-particle droplets from entering the mouth or nose. They’re disposable, loose-fitting, and cover the nose, mouth, and chin and should be thrown away after using them.

N95 mask is the best to protect you. An N95 mask offers more protection than a cloth mask made from home or a surgical mask does because it can filter out both large and small particles when the wearer inhales. As the name indicates, the mask is designed to block 95% of very small particles.

A single cough can produce up to 3,000 droplets. There are fears the virus can also be spread simply through speaking. One recent study showed that we spray thousands of droplets invisible to the naked eye into the air just by uttering the words to stay healthy.

Once out of our mouths, many of the larger droplets will quickly settle onto nearby surfaces while smaller ones remain suspended in the air for hours, where they can be breathed in.

There are also some reports that the coronavirus can spread through ventilation systems in buildings. The virus can linger in the air for several hours and still infect people if breathed in.

And in indoor environments, they seem to be particularly prone to spreading through the air particularly in people’s homes, but also on public transport, in restaurants, cinemas, and stores.

If everybody is wearing face masks, that would mean infected and asymptomatic people are also wearing masks. That could help to reduce the amount of virus which gets into the environment and potentially causes infections.

Roughly 25 percent of people with coronavirus are thought to be asymptomatic = showing no signs and people who catch Covid-19 usually don’t develop symptoms until five to 14 days after being infected. This is one of the ways Covid-19 has been able to spread within communities, often without us knowing.

Mask with social distancing and hand-washing as a three-pronged effort to stay healthy and keep your neighbor safe.

How to wear a face mask.

Don’t touch your mask while wearing it.

If you accidentally touch your mask, wash or sanitize your hands.

Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask.

Avoid touching the front of the mask. The front of the mask is contaminated. Only touch the ear loops/ties/band.

Follow the instructions below for the type of mask you are using.

Face Mask with Ties: Untie the bottom bow first then untie the top bow and pull the mask away from you as the ties are loosened.

Regularly wash your cloth mask with soap and water in the washing machine. It’s fine to launder them with other clothes. Wash your hands immediately after removing your mask.
