The Heresy of the Endtime: Dispensationalism

It originated in the nineteenth century in the teaching of John Nelson Darby and was popularized in the United States through the Bible Conference movement.

The publication of the Baptist Scofield Reference Bible, which was published in 1909, made it more widespread.

The so-called prophecy teachers use this false teaching to try to prove their prophecy of how the end will come. So-called prophecy books like The Late Great Planet Earth and Left Behind series and many more try to make their teaching accurate by using dispensational theology.

But if you go by dispensational theology, it is right-out nonsense. An example of the nonsense is the dispensations that say that Revelations  3 is the resurrection (rapture).

But the problem is Chapter 3 of Revelations is about John being resurrected to the heavens, not the Church being resurrected. To say it’s the Church is twisting scripture to make your belief system work.

The Bible says John and nothing about the church. This theory has so many lies in it. Revelations 3 teaches John is caught up to the throne, whereas the Church is caught up to Jesus; nothing about the throne room.

1 Thessalonians 4:14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I haven’t figured out how John being caught up to the throne means the Church caught up to Jesus. They must lie and say this is the church to make their seven dispensations.

They teach a leader to rise up and be the antichrist. The word antichrist is not one time in the Bible a reference to a one-world leader; again, this is made up.

Anyone who denied Jesus had come in the flesh was antichrist. In the book of John, there is a reference to the Jews of that time.

The word antichrist is only in the Bible four times.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

1 John 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Jesus will come as a thief in the night, another concept they use to sell their false books and movies.

Jesus will only come back as a thief in the night to those who are sinners and not watching for him.

If you want to write fictional books and make fictional movies, you must use false teachings. And that is what they have done with dispensational theology.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Many teach dispensation that the teaching of Jesus was not for us but for the Jews of that time.

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the “words of our Lord Jesus Christ”, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness.

1 Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1 Timothy 6:5  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

I don’t have the space to talk about the Second Coming, the Jewish people, another temple, etc. If you are sitting under a teacher or pastor who teaches dispensational theology, I would advise you to find another church.

People who teach or believe in dispensation read books and watch movies instead of receiving their theology from the scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

2 Corinthians 11:13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
