If you are Christian then the truth is what you live and your beliefs are based on the truth. The truth that I’m speaking of is the truth of the word of God that comes from the Bible.
Not what your church or your denomination says is the truth, but what you have studied in the Bible for yourself.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Many people teach that there is no absolute truth but they are lost souls who are blind and can’t hear the word of God. They are puffed up in their own worldly mind.
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The foundation of your Christian journey must be based on the word.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
The Bible teaches we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets and Jesus which we know by studying the Bible.
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Ephesians 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
The word teaches we must be born again by the word of God.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

The word of God is alive and powerful.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word is truth.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
We are saved by hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
So Christianity is more than going to church once a week.
