Is there an increasing issue of Biblical illiteracy among churches?

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Biblical knowledge is declining because families aren’t rooted in the Bible. Christians lack deep knowledge and only know what they learn from the pulpit.

They have been spending most of their time reading books about the Bible instead of studying the Bible itself.

According to a recent study, the percentage of Americans who read the Bible daily has dropped to less than one in ten, approximately 9%. This is the lowest number on record during the ten years of the State of the Bible research study.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hebrew 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

These scriptures fit the modern-day church that has fallen away.

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
