The Enemy of Humans is Death

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that sleep

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

1 Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. With the coronavirus sweeping the world, death has become a fear that has been on many people’s minds.

With more than 4,200,953 cases and more than 284,822 deaths, fear has entered many people of their death and their loved one’s death.

Everyone knows that we all die, but the coronavirus sweeping the world has brought the issue of death to the fore-front to many people.

Jesus taught that if you follow him you would never die.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

We know that all die, but Jesus was teaching that death will be done away with and we who serve him shall have eternal life.

Christians believe that this life is just a journey to the next eternal life that they will enter into. The bible references death as asleep until Christ returns the second time.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

So Christians will be resurrected and will live on a new earth where there will be peace and no more pain or tears.

Revelations 21:1 & 4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The Bible teaches that after the Christians are resurrected, Jesus will destroy the earth with fire and then judgment for the unsaved.

This is the time to make sure you are right with God. It’s time to think about your life and what will happen after you die as well what will happen when  your loved ones die.

The Bible teaches today is the day of salvation. Today how do you stand with Christ since there is no second chance after you die.

Are you truly saved or just playing church?

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

I think everyone should consider there own salvation since there are so many false teachings going around in mainstream churches.

2 Peter 2:1 Even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

When you read these next scriptures in Matthew, ask yourself where do you stand.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

So when you die will you go in the resurrection with the Christians or to judgement with the sinners?

Jude 1:14 Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.

Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Revelations 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelations 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelations 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
