China Can Uses Water as a Weapon

End time Bible Ezekial 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

China has unleashed water wars on Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. The  Mekong River in the Tibetan Plateau and flows through China into Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand.

While all countries have built dams on the river, China has constructed 11 of them. During times of extreme drought, its dams hold back huge quantities of water, worsening the situation downstream.

China limited the Mekong’s flow, worsening the drought. Later, its sudden release of vast amounts of water caused flooding and suffering.

Since China’s conquest of Tibet, it controls the headwaters of some of the largest rivers flowing through South and Southeast Asia.

Over the years, China has built hydroelectric dams on a scale unprecedented in human history. China already has over 20,000 dams built.

Dams block the flow of rivers, increase the chances of earthquakes, and destroy river ecosystems, turning free-flowing waterways into lakes, driving species to extinction, and cause both droughts and floods.

China dams are another weapon to bully countries that lie downstream.  China can use water as a weapon by refusing to release water when India needs it, exacerbating droughts.

It could open the floodgates during rainy seasons and cause horrendous floods. Its dams are weapons that give China an edge against its neighbors. Of them, India has the most to fear. China could use its dams to subdue its southern neighbor without fighting.
