Amazon is bringing a palm-scanning payment system to Whole Foods stores.
Amazon is expanding its palm-scanning payment system to a Whole Foods store in Seattle, the company announced Wednesday, the first of many planned rollouts at other locations.
Amazon physical stores, allows shoppers to pay for items by placing their palm over a scanning device. The first time shoppers use the kiosk, they have to insert a credit card to link it with their palm print. But after that, shoppers can pay simply by holding their hand over the kiosk.
Amazon One is distinct from the company’s Just Walk Out technology, which allows shoppers to pick up items and walk out of the store without going through a checkout line. However the two technologies can work together, and Amazon employs them both at its cashier-less Amazon Go stores.
Amazon has said it hopes to sell the palm-scanning technology to other companies like retailers, stadiums, and office buildings. Last September, Amazon said it was in “active discussions with several potential customers.”
Privacy and security experts have also raised concerns about the dangers of shoppers handing over biometric data to companies. Amazon envisions broad long-term adoption of the Amazon One technology for everything from in-store payments to accessing office buildings to entering sports stadiums.
Amazon’s use of biometrics in stores and other commercial settings promises to attract scrutiny at a time of heightened awareness of digital security and privacy, testing the limits of customer trust in the company.
I personally don’t trust the big tech. I believe they are out to take your freedom away just like their participation in stealing the election.
The SO-CALLED Prophecy teachers have hashed over the ideas of the beast and the mark and turned a profit from movies to books by teaching false doctrine about the so-called Beast and his image.

Some believe the Mark of the Beast is literal and some believe it’s figuratively but no one knows for sure. Time will tell if it’s literal or figurative.
